from Kathryn FergussonWe’ve got some great visual submissions, but still only one video, so hopefully you’ll be able to make some more work before the deadline! (You can submit things up to the end of Monday, Mar 2)

Check out this latest submission from a former Philadelphia resident, who’s voicing her concern for her beloved Philly all the way from Florida!

I’m extending the deadline until March 10, because rumor has it that a certain group of Philadelphia students are performing a play next week that centers around an anti-casino protest, and I’d like to give them a chance to submit some video. (Seeing as we only have one video entry so far, as brilliant as it is!) – this buys the rest of you a little bit more time as well!

Submissions coming in – deadline Mar 2!

As we approach that  deadline, a few more submissions have come in – see below for some powerful drawings and photographs- if we get enough other content, we’ll have to organize an exhibit of this material. But right now we could still use some more submissions, so please encourage your visual/creative friends to make us some artwork!

Less than two weeks left!

With less than two weeks until the March 2 deadline, we don’t have a lot of entries (but check out this amazing video entry below!). That means it might be pretty easy for you to win, if you make us something cool asap! Remember, Tshirt + Poster designs or a video of any sort. If you’re interested but lacking inspiration, drop a line to jj@jjtiziou.net and I’ll throw some random ideas your way.

The anti-casino movement needs more artists and creative people involved. Please make us some creative designs to help us inform and rally our neighbors!reject casinos!

The latest Casino-Free Philadelphia tshirts are a hit – so much so that they got a mention in The Wall Street Journal!

Also, check out the great slot-machine-terminator-illustration by Evan M. Lopez in this week’s City Paper to get an idea of how artists can help convey this message in creative ways.
